Questions, answered
Does it work on every Shopify plan?
Yes. Apps from the Shopify App Store can add checkout rules on every plan, not only Shopify Plus.
Will it block my real customers?
Only orders that break your rules. Normal paid orders go through as usual, and if the app ever has a problem, Shopify lets orders through.
What about free samples and giveaways?
Tag those products with soar-free-gift. A cart with only tagged products can still be free.
Do I need to edit my theme or code?
No. Soar Shield runs inside Shopify's checkout. Install it, turn it on, done.
Does Soar Shield store my customers' data?
No. It only reads the cart at checkout to decide if an order is allowed. No customer data is stored.
Does it stop bots or card testing?
No. Soar Shield focuses on order rules. Card testers use normal paid orders, which Shopify's own fraud tools handle.
